Lightning Youth Field Hockey is a non-profit and required to have three parents/guardians of current players, not related by blood or marriage, serve as Officers: President, Treasurer, and Secretary. Parents, older siblings, local field hockey players are always welcome to serve as Coaches or Assistant Coaches as we grow our sport.

Tournaments and Clinics : Fall 2024

Dates/locations will be posted as they are scheduled on Sportsengine.  The following are planned.

Sportsengine:  Please make sure that you download and install the Sportsengine app. Sportsengine will serve as exclusive mode of communication. A team specific calendar will be posted including all practice sessions, tournaments and other events. It will also be used to RSVP attendance which is particularly important for tournaments.

Coaches will use the SportsEngine app to communicate with parents about Game Schedules, locations, parking details, waivers, etc. 

Fee:

$425 per player and covers all Sunday practices and tournament registrations. 

We are also  introducing a siblings discount of 20% for this season and there are two payment options:

1. Pay in Full now

2. Pay $225 now and $200 by end of September

All players must be registered with both Lightning and USAFH to join in our activities.

Based on parent feedback, it is easier to complete this registration form on a desktop/laptop device vs a mobile one.

All players are also required to be members of the United States Field Hockey Association/USAFH to participate in Lightning practices and tournaments with a valid membership through Dec 2023.

The annual membership must be purchased/renewed directly from the USFHA.
